The Big Weekend is set to debut in Chicago over October 4 – October 6, taking over 5 esteemed venues over a 3 day period. Tickets to each show can be purchased individually, as this festival is unique since it offers fans the opportunity to attend one show, or several shows, throughout the weekend at the city’s finest live music venues. The event will feature performances from hometown heroes Umphrey’s McGee celebrating their 20th year, Lettuce, Emancipator Ensemble, Leftover Salmon, Papadosio, The Revolution, and more, at the Riviera Theatre, Aragon Ballroom, Park West, House of Blues, and Concord Music Hall.
The Big Weekend also recently announced “Bluegrass & Bloody’s” Big Boozy Brunch, scheduled for Saturday, October 6 from 11am to 1pm at The Frontier. This delightful experience (open to those 21 years and older) is hosted by Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman. One (1) ticket to the Big Boozy Brunch includes:
- Special acoustic performance by Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman
- Bottomless bloody mary and mimosa bar
- Buffet style brunch featuring: Steal Your Face Salted Caramel French Toast, Friend of the Deviled Eggs, Disco Beignets, Up in Smoked Ham and Eggs Chimichurri, and more
- Souvenir Big Weekend Coffee Mug
- Lawn game competitions

- Iconic jam concerts streamed on-screen throughout brunch

There is also an additional contest opportunity in which fans can participate! Propeller is pumped to be partnering with HeadCount to send one lucky winner and a friend to the inaugural Big Weekend jam band event in Chicago. HeadCount is a non-partisan organization that works with musicians to promote participation in democracy. They have registered nearly 500,000 voters since their inception, mostly at concerts and festivals. The winner will be heading to The Big Weekend in style, with two Umphrey’s McGee VIP experience passes on Saturday and their choice of VIP passes for either Emancipator Ensemble & Papadosio, The Revolution, or Spafford with Southern Avenue on Friday night!
