Sound Haven music festival was definitely a highlight of my 2018 festival season. The Sacred Hive – a group of “like minded artists, dedicated to bringing free form & conscious music to Nashville” – launched their inaugural festival in 2018 featuring 2 days of non-stop music in an intimate setting of roughly 500 music lovers. Due to popular demand, Sound Haven returns bigger and badder August 8-11, 2019 as an 18+ 4-day music festival showcasing some of the hottest underground bass musicians on planet Earth!

While last year’s event was held at Further Farms just outside of Nashville, TN, to accommodate the insanely stacked lineup (and all of the bass heads that follow) this year it is being held at the beautiful and spiritual Jaceland in Gruetli-Laager, TN. Jaceland is known to the locals as an under-the-radar spot for outdoor fun and expression of spirituality, and we’re excited to join you all there! Last year, the camping experience was phenomenal, and attendees could camp close to the stages. Incredibly, although the music played 24 hours a day, getting to sleep wasn’t an issue! I look forward to experiencing Jaceland’s beautiful campgrounds.

The two-phase lineup – the daily schedule is yet to be released – boasts many massive underground names. Shlump and ill.Gates headline with special guest Mersiv. Other headliners include Brightside, Eazybaked, Levitation Jones, and The Widdler, among many other fantastic artists. The Good Music Collectiv is especially excited to see and continue supporting artists that we hosted in our spring 2019 Bass Bloom shows in Chicago: G-Space, Mystic Grizzly, MeSo, Rest in Pierce, and Wreckno. I’m sure the artists will use the event’s Funktion-One sound system to set our spirits aflame with booming bass and wild wubs. This year’s Sound Haven is an event you’re not going to want to miss!

Besides amazing music, Sound Haven has plenty of new opportunities for fun under the sun this year. We can look forward to workshops, live artists, day group hiking, some dank food, and more! Be sure to keep an eye out for the details on these fun activities as they become available.

Don’t forget to check out Sacred Hive’s “Road to Sound Haven” events happening all across the country! We’re stoked to see Mystic Grizzly coming back out to Chicago!
