Electric Zoo – “New York’s music festival” – returns for its 11th summer to Randall’s Island Park, NYC during Labor Day weekend, Friday August 30 to Sunday September 1, 2019. Having been nominated for an International Dance Music Award for “Best Music Event” 2010 – 2014, this festival has been growing and changing every year since. This year’s theme is Electric Zoo: Evolved, and since the festival organizers have been keeping us in suspense, we’re excited to see what kinds of evolutions are in store for us!
What we do know for sure is that the artists scheduled for this year is absolutely insane! The star-studded lineup contains many legends like Eric Prydz, Diplo, Benny Benassi, Alison Wonderland, Above & Beyond, Zedd, Excision, Armin van Buuren, Flux Pavilion, and so many more. Although the schedule is not out yet, the lineup pulls no punches – every stage slaps hard every day.
For those of you lucky enough to be able to attend, one GA ticket costs $367 total (ticket price + service fee + print-at-home fee), VIP tickets cost $709/ticket, and Platinum tickets cost $1,038/ticket. Electric Zoo: Evolved is a fantastic value for the weekend of non-stop incredible sets and great vibes that we’re set to experience. The festival opens 3pm Friday, 1pm Saturday and Sunday.
There are many different ways to get to the island too. If you’re located far out, subways and buses can be taken to the 125th St. stop; and of course, you can drive to the island directly. From Manhattan, a ferry leaves every 30 minutes from East 35th St. and FDR Drive directly to the island!
Check out Electric Zoo’s website for more strategies on how to beat the traffic HERE – it can be brutal! We hope to see you all there as we take on the evolution of the 11th installment of New York City’s music festival.
