Midwest Beatbox Battle 2019 [PREVIEW]

For the second year in a row, The Midwest Beatbox Battle will grace Chicagoland with an exciting cultural showcase like no other. From October 11th – 13th, witness solo and loop battles from top international talent of all ages—it’ll be a weekend you’ll never forget!

Each competitor will be given up to two minutes to demonstrate their skills to a panel of professional judges, including BBK, BLOOMER, GENE SHINOZAKI, HONEYCOMB, and RAYUL. The Top 16 solo competitors will advance to a bracket and battle it out face-to-face until a winner is chosen.

Founded in 2012 in Youngstown, Ohio—and held in the state capital of Columbus for the following six years—The Midwest Beatbox Battle is America’s first international beatbox competition. This event is organized by Shut Your Mouth and Beatbox, a group of beatboxers dedicated to the art and uprising of American Human Beatboxing.
