Hangout Fest 2023: Not Your Typical Beach Vacation [Preview]

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind party this May, head to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, for Hangout Fest! Taking place from May 19-21, 2023, Hangout Fest is like none other, with a variety of acts from all different genres, such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, SZA, Skrillex, Lil Nas X, and many more.

Oh, and did we mention it takes place ON THE BEACH? That’s right. Simultaneously splash in the waves, sip on frozen cocktails and enjoy sets from some of your favorite artists.

Some artists we recommend checking out include Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Rezz, Thundercat, A Hundred Drums, and Sfam. After catching Night Tales on their debut tour, we highly suggest you check their set out, too. (You can prepare for their set by checking out our review of their debut album here).

Now, not only is the Hangout Fest lineup top tier but the experience itself is loaded up, too! You can get energized at the Monster Beach Club or sip on a Corona in the water at Corona beach. The possibilities are endless.

One extra unique feature of this festival is the Roller Disco! Festival-goers can take some laps around the rink and then head back to the beach or over to the Malibu Beach House to cool off with a frozen rum drink. Socks and skates are provided.
