If you’ve been to Lollapalooza in the last four years, you’re probably familiar with Cupcake Vineyards. Cupcake has been sponsoring Lolla since 2015, and since then, it has been providing delicious wine at the event. At all of the bars throughout the festival, you can buy a can of perfectly chilled wine, or, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you can get an entire BOTTLE of cupcake wine. For $30, you can watch your bartender pour a whole bottle of wine (like actually, the whole thing) into a sweet souvenir re-sealable bottle. You can pick from Rose, Prosecco, Moscato, or Sauvignon Blanc, but regardless of your personal preference, they’re all delicious. The best part is that you can bring your reusable bottle back for a refill! Hooray for being environmentally conscious! Along with being featured at all of the bars, Cupcake Vineyards had an awesome lounge right in the middle of the fest. Equipped with a huge tent featuring tons of shade, games, and seating, it was the perfect place to escape the heat and enjoy a yummy drink. New at the festival this year, though, Cupcake Vineyards introduced frozies.
A frozie is almost like a wine slushy, but with a tasty twist. First, you have a cute selfie taken, then choose your drink flavor, either strawberry juice + rose, or pineapple juice + sauvignon blanc with a layer of whipped cream on top, and then watch as the selfie you just took is printed on top of your drink! That’s right, printed right on top of that layer of whipped cream. Not only is it delicious, but also it is such a cute idea to have your picture on a drink! After receiving your drink, there are a ton of cool photo op booths, including a red carpet style 360 degree camera where you can take a sweet video with your friends featuring your yummy frozies!
If you somehow missed it this year, make sure to head over to the Cupcake Vineyards lounge at Lolla next year and grab yourself a frozie! If you’re over 21, of course! Don’t forget to check out their booths at the festival’s bars, either. You can also find a bottle of Cupcake Vineyards wine at your local grocery and liquor stores, and if you somehow haven’t tried their products yet, do it!
