Spring Awakening Releases Incredible Festival Grounds Teaser Video

Spring Awakening Releases Incredible Festival Grounds Teaser Video

Spring Awakening returns to Chicagoland this year, in a new location, and, as promised, with vastly upgraded production. The festival’s new location at Poplar Creek in Hoffman Estates is a promising one. The grounds are significantly larger than those in years’ past, which means there is lots of potential for new amenities, stage designs, and to finally reduce the amount of sound bleeding between stages.

Recently, the festival revealed the digital rendering of the new and expanded event grounds, including two ferris wheels, four full size stages, the Corona Electric Beach tent, a silent disco, hot air balloon rides, and lots of room for vendors. They also revealed The Good Bus will be at the festival this year, and will be hosting artists throughout the weekend.

Along with a video preview of the entire grounds, Spring Awakening also shared the rendering for the new Solstice Stage, aka the main stage. The stage is looking particularly impressive, and seeing as the Equinox stage has also been re-designed, we’re hoping to see that rendering prior to the festival as well. It is possible it will come along with the festival map reveal!

As usual, the team at Spring Awakening seems to handle last minute changes with the utmost grace and control. Along with an absolutely stacked lineup, the festival grounds are bound to amaze all veteran Spring Awakening attendees. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if this venue is even better than Soldier Field.  They are really taking advantage of the expansive space and are obviously doing everything in their power to guarantee a positive festival experience.

Tickets are still available here, get them while you can!
